Snowy Morning
We had a pretty good snow overnight. The weather reports said Cache Valley got about a foot of snow. We measured about 10” in our front yard.

It's been many years since I've had games on my smartphone. It's not that I don't enjoy video games, it's that I enjoy them too much.
My brother (who is younger than me) has never used big social media.
I make a distinction between big and small social media.
I guess technically my brother does have a LinkedIn account that he uses as an online resumé, not as a social network. But Facebook? Twitter? Instagram? Nope. Nada.

The past couple years I have been mailing Christmas cards to family and loved ones and I plan to keep doing so in the future.
I've been trying the Vivialdi browser off and on over the past several weeks. There's a lot to like about it. It has tons of baked-in features that require add-ons in other browsers, and a massive settings sections allows you to configure and customize it unlike any other browser. But there's one thing that keeps me using Firefox.
I think I first heard this song on a Christian radio station as I was driving one day. Scars in Heaven by Casting Crowns is a beautiful and comforting song for anyone who has lost a loved one.
Eight years ago I saw a Christmas ad that I enthusiastically shared that year and every year since. It has become one of my favorite Christmas videos and seems to only get more relevant with time. In truth it is more of a mini-documentary than an ad.
It has become a tradition in my family to watch the 1994 version of Miracle on 34th Street around Thanksgiving. It’s one of the things we do to kick off the Christmas season. We watched it this evening.
Another Thanksgiving in the books. Except for one thing, it was a pretty ordinary holiday.
It's a Thanksgiving miracle! I wasn't expecting my clarinet to be repaired for at least another week or so, but I got a text from the shop late in the afternoon today that it was ready to be picked up.
